ikigai [eye-KEY-guy]: that which makes life most worth living

what we believe
Most every philosophical and spiritual tradition asserts that we are called to a unique mission in this life—something that makes us feel deeply alive, while, at the same time, addressing a need of the wider world.  To be living that life is to be truly satisfied.

what we do
In a two-part "What Should I Do with My Life?" workshop, we lay out a variety of tools to help you discover the foundations from which arise your own meaningful work and 'big enough' life.

Whereas a career counselor often focuses on finding the closest match between you and already available jobs, our work recognizes that your path may involve venturing into uncharted territory. (If the road ahead is well-trodden, it's probably not yours.)

And, unlike a therapist or life coach working with you one-on-one, we enjoy the synergy of exploring together in small community—and the mutual support that develops from it.

who we are
We offer you four decades of experience developing and facilitating award-winning workshops, classes and programs.

We have extensive training in psychology and counseling (particularly the multi-cultural psychologies of well-being) and in-depth exposure to some of the world’s great philosophical, literary and spiritual traditions—all of which offer important insights into how to discover our best work and live our best lives.
